Previous roles include Chair of NCRI UK Gynaecology Cancer Group, Council member IGCS (International Gynecological Cancer Society) and Rare Tumour Working Group of GCIG (Gynaecological Cancer InterGroup)

Recent past appointments include Senior Investigator for the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR), subject Editor for ESMO (European Society of Medical Oncology) Gynaecological Cancer Practice Guidelines and Vice President of ESGO (European Society of Gynaecological Oncology)

 He has published extensively on research and guidelines in Gynaecological Cancers, and lectured on these topics at international conferences.
