Yeguang Chen currently is an Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Professor of Tsinghua University and Nanchang University. Professor Chen obtained his Ph.D degree in Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Post-doctoral Research in Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer  Center/Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He primarily focuses on using multidisciplinary approaches such as molecular biology, cell biology, bioinformatics, as well as organoid technology and animal models, to investigate the self-renewal and differentiation mechanisms of adult stem cells, and explore the molecular mechanisms underlying signal regulation of cell fate and the development of cancer diseases. His lab mainly focuses on the molecular mechanisms of TGF-β signaling and Wnt signaling in regulating cell fates and related physiological and pathological functions. Using organoid and mouse models in combination of multiple techniques of molecular biology, cell biology and bioinformatics, he also investigates the self-renewal and differentiation mechanisms of adult stem cells of intestine and stomach, and explore the pathogenic mechanisms of related diseases.
